Our Story
We are based in Wabash, Indiana. This is where we live, where we work, and where Margin started.
Sara and Shane met through a shared frustration with how consultants operate. Sara has an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and has spent years helping teams actually change how they work. Not just telling them what to do. Actually helping them do it. Shane has been building systems and automation for over a decade, long before AI was a buzzword.
We learned early that 70% of any transformation is people and process. Technology is only 30%. Most consulting firms get that backwards. They sell the tool first and figure out the people later. That is why so many projects fail.
We also noticed a gap. Consultants who assess but never build. Automation agencies who build without understanding the operation first. The result? Reports that gather dust. Systems nobody uses.
That is why Margin exists. We do both. We assess your entire operation, build the systems that fit, and stay until your team has fully adopted them. Partners, not vendors.
We work with businesses and organizations across Wabash County and the surrounding region. We chose the name "Margin" because that is what we create: breathing room, space to grow. When your systems work for you instead of against you, you get your time back. That is margin.
